I collected my first found photographs at a market in Brussels, Belgium while visiting a friend in 2016. It set off an obsession in me. When I wasn’t able to photograph during much of 2020, the collecting of others’ snapshots of life took my full interest. First it was 35mm slides and lantern slides, before progressing into looking for physical prints that caught my eye for any number of reasons. Since then, I’ve collected many photographs. Some fairly odd themes of interest have started to emerge - including costume, birthdays, halloween and much more. The collection continues to grow, to my family’s dismay, I’m certain.
